Community Guidelines
GUINEX is a community of engineering students, creators, and learners. These guidelines ensure everyone has a safe, respectful, and productive experience.
Core Principles
Respect
Treat every member — creator, buyer, or guest — with courtesy and professionalism.
Academic Integrity
Projects are for learning and reference. Never submit purchased projects as your own academic work.
Constructive Feedback
Reviews and ratings should be honest, specific, and help improve the ecosystem.
Reviews & Ratings Standards
- Be honest: Rate based on your genuine experience with the project. Don't inflate or deflate ratings for personal reasons.
- Be specific: Mention what worked well and what didn't. "Good project" is less helpful than "Clear setup instructions, code compiled on first try with Python 3.10."
- Be constructive: If you had issues, describe them clearly so the creator can improve.
- No personal attacks: Critique the project, not the creator as a person.
- No fake reviews: Coordinated or incentivized reviews (positive or negative) are prohibited.
- All reviews are moderated by admin before appearing publicly. Reviews violating these standards will be rejected.
Communication Standards
When communicating via Support Chat, project comments, or any platform interaction:
- Use professional, respectful language at all times.
- Stay on-topic — Support Chat is for project-related discussions, not personal conversations.
- Share error logs and screenshots constructively when seeking help.
- Respond to messages in a timely manner, especially during the 72-hour buyer protection window.
- Do not share personal contact information (phone numbers, personal email) unless you choose to.
- Do not use chat to negotiate outside-platform transactions that bypass GUINEX's escrow protection.
Prohibited Behavior
The following behaviors result in warnings, suspension, or permanent bans:
- Harassment: Bullying, threats, intimidation, or targeted negative behavior toward any user.
- Spam: Unsolicited promotional messages, repetitive content, or irrelevant links.
- Fraud: Fake UTR submissions, wallet manipulation, coordinated refund abuse, or impersonation.
- Impersonation: Pretending to be another user, admin, moderator, or GUINEX staff.
- Hate speech: Content promoting discrimination based on race, gender, religion, caste, disability, or sexual orientation.
- Doxxing: Sharing another user's personal information without consent.
- Circumvention: Attempting to bypass Platform security, escrow protections, or moderation systems.
- Multiple accounts: Creating duplicate accounts to evade bans or manipulate the platform.
Reporting Violations
If you encounter behavior that violates these guidelines:
- Report projects via the Contact page or email guinexadmin@gmail.com.
- Include the offending user's GUINEX ID, a description of the violation, and any evidence (screenshots, chat logs).
- All reports are treated confidentially. Your identity as a reporter is not disclosed to the reported user.
- GUINEX admin investigates all reports within 24-48 hours and takes appropriate action.
Enforcement Actions
GUINEX uses a graduated enforcement system:
Warning
First-time minor violations
Content Removal
Violating content deleted
Suspension
Temporary account lockout
Permanent Ban
Account terminated
Severe violations (malware, fraud, harassment) may skip to Level 3 or 4 immediately.
