Platform Rules

Acceptable Use Policy

This policy outlines what you can and cannot do on the GUINEX platform. It supplements our Terms & Conditions and Community Guidelines.

Last Updated: August 1, 2026

Permitted Uses

GUINEX is designed for the following legitimate purposes:

  • Educational Reference: Unlocking projects to study code architecture, learn programming patterns, understand circuit designs, and reference research methodologies.
  • Portfolio Building: Uploading original engineering projects to build a verifiable technical portfolio linked to your GUINEX ID.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Contributing original academic work to help other engineering students learn and grow.
  • Fair Monetization: Earning royalties from original technical work through the GP wallet system.
  • Community Participation: Following creators, writing honest reviews, participating in challenges, and building your engineering network.
  • Technical Support: Using Support Chat to help buyers understand and implement your uploaded projects.

Academic Integrity Policy

GUINEX projects are educational reference materials — NOT submissions for institutional evaluation.

  • DO: Study the code, understand the architecture, learn the algorithms, and use concepts as inspiration for your own original work.
  • DO: Reference GUINEX projects as source material (just as you would reference a textbook or research paper).
  • DO NOT: Submit purchased projects as your own academic work for grades, credits, or degrees.
  • DO NOT: Copy entire codebases and claim authorship.
  • Academic dishonesty is the buyer's responsibility. GUINEX provides reference material; how you use it determines whether you maintain integrity.

  • Coordinated refund abuse or dispute manipulation
  • Using the Platform for money laundering or illegal financial activity

Behavioral Violations

  • Hate speech or content promoting discrimination
  • Negotiating outside-platform transactions to bypass escrow protection

Enforcement

Violations of this policy result in graduated consequences:

  • Warning: First-time minor violations receive a written warning and educational guidance.
  • Content Removal: Violating content is removed from the Platform.
  • Feature Restriction: Temporary restriction of specific features (upload, review, withdrawal).
  • Account Suspension: Temporary lockout for repeated or serious violations.
  • Permanent Ban: Account termination for severe violations (malware, fraud, repeat offenses).
  • Legal Action: In cases of financial fraud or criminal activity, GUINEX reserves the right to pursue legal remedies under Indian law.

Severity determines the starting enforcement level. Malware uploads, financial fraud, and serious harassment may skip directly to suspension or permanent ban.
